Maison des Trois Frères has been making encaustic in France for over a century.

The paste encaustic is more concentrated in wax, and by its very special formula, it is durable over time and gives a deep shine as well as a great hardness which makes it dry touch.

It warms the essence of the wood, it does not clog the wood and does not make the surfaces sticky. A thin layer of paste wax will give the finish a warm touch that will take on a superb patina over time.
